Cozad Hospital Foundation Fall Ball
Thursday, September 7, 2017
The Cozad Hospital Foundation is hosting the 2017 Fall Ball on Saturday, October 28th in the Cozad Elks Ballroom. The social hour begins at 5:30; dinner will follow at 6:30.
The Cozad Hospital Foundation started in 1981; it has been a great asset to this community and has helped shape our healthcare in Cozad to what it is today. The Foundation contributions have included the Cozad Community Wellness Center, Meadowlark Pointe, Central Plains Home Health and Hospice, Areawide Lifeline, Cozad Community Physical Therapy, Cozad Community Medical Clinic, Cozad Child Care, Cozad Community Schools, and Student Loan Repayment. A project in the spotlight to date is Meadowlark Pointe expansion. The Foundation pledged up to one million dollars to match what is raised in the community for this project.
This is the 14th consecutive year of the Fall Ball. Lloyd Wilson was the first to be inducted into the Healthcare Hall of Fame in 2004. This year three candidates will be inducted into the Healthcare Hall of Fame. The inductees are Judi Davis, Patty Bader, and Charles Block. Over the years, Fall Ball attendees have had the privilege to listen to wonderful, inspirational speakers. This year will be no exception. The keynote speaker for the evening will be Mark J. Lindquist, an Afghanistan war veteran, singer, entertainer, and author. Lindquist performs for some of the largest crowds in America.
Tickets for the Fall Ball are available by contacting members of the Foundation and the Cozad Community Hospital.
