Medical Clinic LPN

Chief Executive Officer

Director of Radiology

Currently seeking a Director of the Radiology Department to ensure service development, employee management and resource allocation and control in order to support and enhance patient care. Will be responsible for the services provided within the hospital by the diagnostic x-ray, ultrasound, CT Scan, and mammography. Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.  Proficient with the principles and practices of Radiation Technology as outlined by the State of Nebraska Health and Human Services.   Understanding of X-Ray patient care procedures and medical terminology required.  At least 5 years of Radiology experience required.  Supervisory experience preferred.

Echo Vascular Technologist

Cozad Community Health System has an opening for a Echo Vascular Technologist to perform interpretive patient care and technical functions to ensure proper echo and vascular diagnosis of patients, under the direction of the Director of Radiology. ED Hospitalist APRN/PA/NP

We are currently looking to add an ED Hospitalist APRN/PA/NPs to the CCHS Team.  The nurse practitioner will work collaboratively with the Medical Staff to facilitate emergent & acute care of the patient. These individuals will work collaboratively with physicians, other nurse practitioners, nurses, case managers and other health care disciplines utilizing a team approach. The nurse practitioner will participate in all aspects of care of the Emergency Department patient and the hospitalized patient including admissions, discharge, daily rounds and patient education.

Education & Experience Requirements: Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited College of Nursing.   Two to five years working in rural emergency and hospital medicine as the sole provider with collaborating physician or designated supervising physician available via phone.

Health Information Technology Director

The HIT Director maintains systems and serves as an enterprise-wide consultant for all HIT implementations. Interacts with vendors as needed to rectify problems that occur during the deployment and maintenance process, including evaluation, design, implementation and support of systems hardware and software for critical infrastructure.  Ensures that the organization’s information is collected, used, stored and released to ensure its validity and integrity and to protect the information based on appropriate regulations. Designs, implements, and enhances an information governance strategy and program to comply with privacy, confidentiality, and information-security related laws and regulations, and company policies and objectives. The scope of information governance encompasses personal information, company information, systems and infrastructure.  The HIT Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, including planning, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, education of all departments, plus coordination and development of operational and departmental procedures related to the EHR system. 

Associate Degree in Medical related field, or a related business field required. Previous experience in a similar field required.  RN, LPN, CNA, or MLT preferred, but not required.  Proficient in navigating and learning computers and EHR experience required.

Required to have or be able to obtain related certification. Examples: Certified Professional In Electronic Health Records (CPEHR) or Certified Associate in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CAHIMS)
