Donation Toward Meadowlark Pointe Expansion
Tuesday, March 14, 2017
Meadowlark Pointe is making an addition adding 26 rooms to the east end of the building this spring. Of those 26 rooms, 12 will be assisted living and 14 will be memory care. Another business in the Cozad community has made a donation toward this project.
Homestead Bank of Cozad has donated $50,000 to the Cozad Hospital Foundation for the addition at Meadowlark Pointe. The Foundation, a 501(c) 3 entity, agreed to match up to one million dollars that will be raised throughout the community. Adam Boryca, President of Homestead Bank, Leland Spanjer, Chairman of Homestead Bank, and Scott Zimbelman, Vice Chairman of Homestead Bank, presented the check to Scott Trusdale, President of the Cozad Hospital Foundation, Lyle Davis, Administrator of the Cozad Community Health System, and Cindy Schneider, Administrator of Meadowlark Pointe.
