Donations Are Being Made Toward Meadowlark Pointe Expansion

Two weeks ago, the news was shared with the Cozad community about Meadowlark Pointe making an addition adding 26 rooms to the east end of the building this spring. Of those 26 rooms, 12 will be assisted living and 14 will be memory care. Since then, people and businesses have stepped up to show their support by making generous donations to the project.

First Bank and Trust Company of Cozad has donated $50,000 to the Cozad Hospital Foundation for the addition at Meadowlark Pointe. The Foundation, a 501(c) 3 entity, agreed to match up to one million dollars that will be raised throughout the community. Kirk Riley, President/CEO of First Bank and Trust Company and Hospital Foundation Board Member, and Jessica Beisner, Cashier of First Bank and Trust Company and Cozad Hospital Board Member, presented the check to Scott Trusdale, President of the Cozad Hospital Foundation, Lyle Davis, Administrator of the Cozad Community Health System, and Cindy Schneider, Administrator of Meadowlark Pointe.
