The Cozad Hospital Foundation is proud to announce its 20th Annual Fall Ball, an evening of elegance, and community celebration. This year’s event will take place under the dazzling theme “Fly Me to the Moon,” bringing together supporters, donors, and healthcare champions for an inspiring night.
Guests will enjoy a formal evening featuring live music, an on site artist painting a one of a kind canvas to be auctioned, and a stellar menu including hors d’oeuvres by Studio 6 Bistro, dinner by the Cozad Elks Club, and desserts by Bizzy Bee. Adding to the excitement, this year marks the Foundation’s transition to modern, online ticketing and silent auction bidding, an upgrade designed to make participation more seamless and engaging. CCHS staff will be available throughout the evening to assist with any technical needs. A highlight of the evening will be the induction of three distinguished healthcare professionals, Marcia Montgomery, Linda Robertson, and Tammy McMichael, into the Cozad Healthcare Hall of Fame. Their dedication and service have profoundly impacted local healthcare, and their stories will be shared in upcoming Medical Minute features.
This year’s guest speaker is Nebraska’s own astronaut, Clayton Anderson. Born in Omaha and raised in Ashland, Anderson’s extraordinary 30 year NASA career includes over 167 days in space, six spacewalks, and two shuttle missions. His story of perseverance and passion will inspire guests to “dare to be extraordinary.”
Since its establishment in 1981, the Cozad Hospital Foundation has played a pivotal role in advancing local healthcare by funding essential equipment, capital improvements, and recruitment initiatives. Through the generosity of donors, the Foundation has supported transformative projects like the Community Wellness Center, Central Plains Home Health & Hospice, and workforce development efforts that strengthen care across the Cozad area.
With every ticket purchased and every bid placed, guests help the Foundation continue its mission, to enhance healthcare access, elevate patient care, and foster a healthier, more connected community.
