Hemorrhoid Banding:
This is a minimally invasive treatment for internal hemorrhoids, where small rubber bands are placed around the hemorrhoid to cut off its blood supply, causing it to shrink and fall off naturally.

Also known as an upper endoscopy, this procedure allows a doctor to examine the esophagus, stomach, and upper part of the small intestine using a flexible scope. It’s used to diagnose conditions like acid reflux, ulcers, or swallowing issues.

Dilation:
If the esophagus is narrowed due to scarring or other conditions, dilation can be performed during an EGD to gently stretch and widen the area, making swallowing easier.
